Originally from Iowa City, IA, I attended the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) and majored in Chemistry. I got my PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!).

 

I am currently a 7-12 science teacher at Hudson Community School District. I have taught everything from college level biochemistry to 7th grade life science. Additionally, I have coordinated and taught STEM enrichment summer programs for 7-12 students.

 

I am also a mom and a runner. I may occasionally talk about that here too. =)
